Construction of the $35m Southern River Square shopping centre was commemorated with a ‘Sod Turning’ ceremony on site. The milestone event was attended amongst others by the Minister for Transport & Planning, Rita Saffioti, the Mayor of the City of Gosnells, David Goode, Member for Southern River, Terry Healy and Chairman of Aigle Royal Group, Tony Poli.
